Hi, my name is Erin and I am afraid of sewing, the I-have-a-mental-block-about-sewing type of fear. I joined sewiknit in the hope that I will conquer some of my sewing phobias.I bought this pink batik for my daughter. She wants a tiered ruffled knee length skirt, and I was thinking of using this fabric, but now that I see this photo, the print is probably too big and maybe I should go look for something else with a smaller print. What do you think? I don't think I need a pattern, just cut the fabric into strips, right?
