I made a pleated bag using this tutorial from craftster.It's for my not so girly sister who loves all things skulls/skeletons. I really love the pairing of a girly, dainty purse design & a dramatic fabric.
The tutorial is straight forward & easy to use. This sew along has definitely helped me improve all my sewing skills as this purse was cut & sewn in under an hour (a new personal best for me).
This week I will be working on the Amy Butler swing bag in an undecided fabric. I am supporting the "Use what you have" in April movement so I will be raiding my stash to see what I can come up with.
