I used the jordy bag pattern. It was really easy peasy!! It only took about an hour of actual sewing (an hour and a half total time with cutting out the pieces). As a beginner sewer I would recommend it as a great basic bag pattern.
Since I want to make a bag each weekend, I ordered the Amy Butler swing bag pattern from Island girl handbags. I'm not sure what fabric I will use for it yet. I think maybe this:
While I wait for it I'm going to use this craftster tute for a pleated tote to make my sister a birthday gift.
I've got some cool skeleton/skull fabric that she will love!
