My first bag is finished! I´m combining this project with use what you have and I´m enjoying trying different colour combinations by using only fabrics from my stash. Once you´ve tried log cabin squares, they become addictive and I love the unique patterns that arise. I used my own pattern which is really easy. The bag is lined with a sturdy, water resistant fabric (I buy shower curtains when they´re on sale and cut them up) so it can be used as a beach bag, for shopping or whatever.
